Building Spiritual Intelligence
Time & Location
About the Event
Schools closings, business closings, social distancing, and virtual services have presented unique challenges and opportunities in the faith community. Spiritual intelligence is a tool that the faith community can use to unlock and unleash their faith practices to impact the community which is greatly needed during these unprecedented times. Spiritual intelligence is a competency that can enhance faith practices for faith leaders or members to clarify purpose, planning, and performance opportunities within the faith community. What faith looks like and how it applies is different now than it has been traditionally. How do members of the faith community intelligently demonstrate and incorporate spirituality in this environment? Many have been challenged and are looking for better ways to cope. They have faith but how they use it and apply it is very different than it has been previously. The goal of this training is to ease the pressure, stress, and empower faith communities. This workshop will define and discuss the importance of spiritual intelligence, incorporating spiritual intelligence in the role and function of faith communities, and using spiritual intelligence to unlock and unleash faith practices.
This interactice discussion will provide insight into increasing and implementing social intelligence into strategic dialogue and conversations to better engage, enrich, and empower faith communities. It is a critical component that needs to improve the dialogue, discussions, and opportunities for faith to positively impact communities. The purpose of this training is to explore how to use the practice and principles of spiritual intelligence to build and support faith communities and those they impact during this pandemic and beyond.
