Frequently Asked Questions

What does the class consist of?

This is an instructor-led virtual class. The virtual training consists of 2 parts: the online self-paced prework and the “in-person” instructor-led virtual class. Every participant will be required to complete approximately 2 hours of self-paced online pre-work prior to this instructor-led session via zoom.

What time does the class start?

This class will be conducted in English.

What time does the class start?

Class starts at 7:00 AM PACIFIC TIME/9:00 AM CENTRAL TIME/10:00 AM EASTERN TIME. Live instructor-led session is expected to last 5 to 5.5 hours on this date.

When will I receive the online training zoom link?

Participants will receive links to online pre-course work within 72 hours from MHFAinfo@thenationalcouncil.org - make sure to check the spam/junk folder.

Is a webcam required for the virtual portion?

Yes. Because this is considered in-person training and is interactive, the participants need to have access to a webcam and be willing to leave the video on throughout the duration of the class. This is due to a requirement that the instructors be able to verify in-person attendance, and if the instructor cannot see you, they cannot verify attendance. Also, this class covers topics that can bring up tender emotions and the instructors need to be able to ensure that the participants are okay.

What's the refund policy?

Registration is non-refundable.
